The View From Amtrak: SF > LA > Chicago > DC
Almost 80 hours on 3 different Amtrak trains in July 2022, crossing the country from West to East. Every hundred miles or so can feel like a brand new country. LA was hot. Chicago was amazing. DC was a downer. The view from the windows of the sleeper room was the best part.
